Opening up its Inter-Valley Conference slate, Hiland (2-1, 1-0) opened up a 47-17 advantage over Sandy Valley by halftime, cruising past the Cardinals down the stretch for its first conference win.

The Hawks were powered by Zoe Miller’s double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds, and Brynn Mullet, who had 14 points, including four triples. Morgan Yoder dished out seven assists and added five points.
