Hiland's mission this year is to play faster, quicker and keep the pedal to the metal and that is exactly what they did in hammering Malvern. Jumping out to a 27-5 advantage in the opening quarter, the Hawks soared to the win in improving to 5-0 overall and 4-0 in the Inter-Valley Conference.
In a game that saw nine different girls score, and 13 different girls play, Hiland was led by Angela Troyer with 27 points and six rebounds, and Morgan McMillen, who finished with 24 points. Melissa Hostetler chipped in 14 points and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds, while Kennedy Schlabach ran the show with 10 points and 13 assists, and Tiffany Weaver finished with seven boards and four points.
