MALVERN — McKenzie Miller scored 16 points as Hiland improved to 9-1 in the Inter-Valley Conference with a win at Malvern.

The Hawks (10-3) overall led 20-10 after the opening frame, 37-16 at the half and 41-19 going to the final frame.

Regina Hochsteler added 11 points for the winners.

Tori McKinney paced Malvern (1-9, 2-11) with 14 points.
