WEST LAFAYETTE -- When the Hiland girls' basketball team comes calling, teams need to play a near perfect game to stand a chance with the Hawks.
Ridgewood played a solid first quarter, trailing 19-10, but 12 second-quarter turnovers allowed Hiland to build a 34-13 lead at the half and the visitors cruised to victory.
Hilary Weaver and Karli Mast each had 16 points for Hiland, while Ridgewood was paced by Maggie Nagel with eight.
