The Hawks ran their record to 4-0 overall and in the Inter-Valley Conference with a rout of the Trojans. This one was over after eight minutes as Hiland led 21-2 heading into the second frame and was up 40-7 at halftime. It was another night to get a lot of girls playing time as 12 girls saw action and 10 scored, led by Jena Stutzman's game-high 18 points. Lydia Miller was the only other Hawk in twin digits with 12.
