Hiland overcomes off shooting night against CVCA

The Hawks got a rare test from CVCA, trailing after three quarters before pulling away in the fourth.

Hiland struggled from the field, going 15-of-63 to shoot 23.8%. However, the Hawks' performance from the free throw line saved them offensively, going 18-of-26 from line, shooting more the double the free throws of CVCA.

Zoe Miller led Hiland with 15 points. Kyli Horn also had 10 points and Morgan Yoder had five assists and five steals.

Gia Casalinova led CVCA with 15 points. The Royals shot 13-of-41 as a team.
