Hiland suffers first loss of the season

Hiland dropped its first game of the season against one of the top teams in Division II.

The Hawks were led by standout post Zoe Miller with a monster effort scoring 19 points and grabbing a team-high 19 rebounds. Kyli Horn added nine points, Brynn Mullet finished with six points, four boards and three assists, and Kelsey Swihart posted six points and grabbed four boards for Hiland.

The Hawks made a comeback after trailing 24-13 at halftime, but Napoleon outscored them 16-9 in the fourth quarter.
