Hiland’s depth paid off in a big way in the fourth quarter as it improved to 2-0 with a win over Cornerstone Christian in The Holiday Hoopla event held at Walsh University in North Canton.

Zoe Miller paced the Hawks with 16 points, while Morgan Yoder added 13 and Brynn Mullett had 12.

Hiland led 11-8 after the first quarter, but Cornerstone Christian came back to take a 27-21 lead at the half.The Hawks regained a 37-36 edge going to the fourth quarter, where they took control.
