Hiland bounced back from its first loss of the season with a dominating win over previously undefeated Shelby in the final game of the Classic in the Country Challenge.

Hiland improved to 14-1 as it was coming off its first loss of season to Winston-Salem Christian on Saturday. Shelby entered the contest at 15-0.

Zoe Miller led the winners with a game-high 22 points. Krista Troyer scored 14 and Morgan Yoder tallied 13, while Kyli Horn and Kelsey Swihart each added 10.

The Hawks led 27-7 after the first quarter, 56-19 at the half and 76-23 after three quarters of play.
