In a battle of backyard rivals, Hiland hosted Waynedale for a friendly non-league matchup. The Hawks prevailed behind Zoe Miller’s 17 point effort, but the Bears got closer than the majority of Hiland’s opponents this year.

Morgan Yoder tossed in 10 points, while Kyli Horn, Brynn Mullet and Kendra Shetler each bagged eight points for Hiland.

The Golden Bears were led by Brooklyn Troyer with 14 points and six rebounds, and Cherlyn Miller with 13 points. Laney Murphy chipped in 12 points for Waynedale.
