Hiland fell to Centerville in its season opener in the Journey to the Tourney at Lakota West.

The Hawks were led by Zoe Miller with 12 points, while Kyli Horn and Krista Troyer each added eight. Aila Miller had a team-high five rebounds and Morgan Yoder added four assists.
