Kennedy Schlabach poured in 19 points and Tiffany Weaver added 12 as defending Division IV state-champion Hiland downed host Hoover 63-46 in girls high school basketball action on Wednesday.

The Hawks and Vikings were tied 9-9 after one quarter before Hiland outscored Hoover 21-10 in the second to take a 30-19 lead at halftime. Hiland held a 42-30 lead heading into the final frame.
