Hawks roll in tourney opener

The Daily Record

Hiland senior Morgan McMillen needed nine points to reach a milestone in her career, and in typical McMillen fashion, the Bowling Green-bound star of the Hawks went out and scored 10 points — in the first quarter — to eclipse the 1,000-point mark, helping the Hawks to a 27-4 lead after one period of play en route to a 81-7 romp over the Coshocton Redskins in the opening round of the Div. III Sectional Wednesday at the Perry Reese Jr. Community Center.

McMillen finished with 18 points along with 18 from Tiffany Weaver, as 11 different players scored for the winners (19-4).
