Hiland senior Morgan McMillen was the big story in this Inter-Valley Conference win over Ridgewood with nine points on three 3-pointers in just five minutes of action off the bench. McMillen is coming back from summer knee surgery that was expected to keep her sidelined most if not all of the season.
Otherwise the Hawks made this another vintage IVC matchup by simply running past the Generals. Kennedy Schlabach led Hiland with 16 points and 11 assists, Zoe Miller put in 16 points and had five rebounds, and Sara Keim delivered 15 points in the easy win.
