Six players scored in double figures as state-ranked Hiland recorded a one-sided win over host Newcomerstown in IVC action.

The Hawks, ranked No. 2 in Division IV, are now 14-1, 11-0, while the Trojans dropped to 1-13, 1-8.

Melissa Hochstetler led the winners with 18 points and Morgan McMillen added 16, while Kim Miller (13), Tiffany Weaver (12), Sara Keim (11) and Kennedy Schlabach (10) reached double digits in scoring.

Hiland led 59-4 at the half and kept Newcomerstown scoreless in the third.

The Hawks won despite not having a free-throw attempt.

Sierra McMullen and Amaris Wells each had three points for the Trojans.
