Hawks hit century mark

Hiland hit the century mark in its 100-10 win over Newcomerstown to highlight Wednesday's only girls action on the hardwood.
The Hawks (3-0) raced out to a 46-2 lead after the opening quarter and never looked back in routing the Trojans in Berlin.
Hiland's Angela Troyer led four Hawks in double figures with 20 points, including a 10 of 12 shooting performance, with Kennedy Schlabach adding 18, Morgan McMillan 16, and Jessica Troyer 13. Sara Keim and Tiffany Weaver chipped in with nine apiece.
Hiland shot a blistering 58 percent from the field (45 of 78), while the Hawks forced Newcomerstown into 42 turnovers.
Amaris Wells led the Trojans with six points.
