The Hiland girls basketball team worked up quite an appetite on Thanksgiving Eve, running past East Canton in 61-point rout at Perry Reese Community Center on Wednesday.
Ten different players scored for the Hawks (1-1), who were led by Kennedy Schlabach (21 points, eight assists) and Angela Troyer (17 points). Brittany Miller added 11 points and four assists, while Tiffany Weaver and Mya Blochlinger scored eight points apiece.
Weaver led the way with eight rebounds, while Blochlinger was right behind with seven.
