Hiland still perfect in IVC
Hiland pushed its Inter-Valley Conference mark to 15-0 with a 84-49 win over Tuscarawas Central Catholic to highlight Wednesday's girls basketball action.
The Hawks (18-3) outscored TCC 60-15 in the middle two quarters in their rout of the Saints in New Philadelphia.
Kennedy Schlabach led four Hiland players in double figures with 21 points, with Angela Troyer next at 19, Brittany Miller with 16, and Sara Keim added 12.
The Hawks made a season-high 17 3-pointers on the night on 37 attempts. Morgan McMillen led Hiland with seven rebounds.
