Hiland wins seventh straight, beating Garaway
Kennedy Schlabach scored 15 points and Angela Troyer added 14 as the Hawks (10-2, 9-0 IVC) defeated the Pirates 59-50 in Inter-Valley Conference action in Berlin.
Hiland led 24-22 at the half, but a 22-point third-quarter outburst by the Hawks gave the hosts a 46-33 lead headed to the fourth and they never looked back.
