Freshman Kennedy Schlabach had a career-high 15 points as the Hawks improved to 7-0 and 6-0 in the Inter-Valley Conference. Schlabach was 3 for 6 on 3-pointers and a perfect 6 for 6 at the charity stripe.

After being tied 18-18 at intermission, Hiland began the third quarter on a 12-6 run and continued its roll in the final stanza for an impressive 17-point win.

Rachel Horn chipped in 14 points, while Alex Troyer pulled down a game-high seven rebounds.

Hiland again made its living off miscues, scoring 18 points off 20 Carrollton turnovers.
