The Hawks ran their record to 7-2 overall and 7-0 in the Inter-Valley Conference with an easy win over the Cardinals. Hiland jumped out to a 23-4 first-quarter lead and cruised from there.
Megan Beachy was on fire from the field in leading the Hawks in scoring. Beachy was 10-of-13 overall on action shots, including 4-of-4 on 3-pointers to outscore the Cardinals herself, 24-21.
Regina Hochstetler also made four 3-pointers as part of her 21-point game, and the Hawks finished 12-of-22 from beyond the arc.
Emily Yoder added 13 points for Hiland as coach Dave Schlabach used his entire 12-girl bench and saw nine of them score.
