After the Hawks' 41-36 upset of No. 1 West Holmes on Tuesday, the Hawks stayed hot and bludgeoned the Cardinals by 42 points. Sandy Valley was down by a lopsided 50-12 margin after three quarters.

Regina Hochstetler was 2-for-8 from long range, but 7-for-11 from inside the arc to finish with 20. Megan Beachy was the only other Hawk in double figures, tallying 10.

With the win, Hiland (19-2) finishes its Inter-Valley Conference slate with a 14-0 ledger.
