The Hawks pitched a shutout in the first half and left no doubt in their tournament opener as they improved to 17-4 on the season.

Hiland, which led 45-0 at the half, was led by McKenzie Miller with a game-high 18. Regina Hochstetler and Bria Coil both outscored the opponent with 10 points each.

Hochstetler led the way on the glass with seven of the locals' 44 rebounds, while Regan Miller handed out eight assists.

Hiland took care of the ball with only six turnovers and forced the Red Knights into 24 miscues.
