Hiland improved to 14-3 overall, 13-1 in the Inter-Valley Conferences with a win over Newcomerstown Saturday.

The Hawks were slow to start offensively, but hit their stride in the second half, outscoring the Trojans 30-19.

Leading the way for Hiland was McKenzie Miller, who scored half of the Hawks' total points with 24. Miller also had four rebounds. Hannah Stoneman pulled down a game-high seven rebounds, while Kendra Schlabach orchestrated the offense with four assists.
