NEWCOMERSTOWN -- After a close first quarter, Hiland outscored host Newcomerstown 18-6 in the second period and breezed to an IVC win to hike its record to 7-0 in the league and 8-0 overall.

Noelle Yoder led the way with 18 points while Hilary Weaver added 16. The Hawks were 27 for 61 from the field and 9 of 15 at the foul line and forced Newcomerstown into 32 turnovers.

The Trojans (3-5, 4-6) were paced by Stephany Feltons 13 points. They sank 16 of 29 field-goal attempts and hit 5 of 10 free throws.
