Moving to 2-0 in the Inter-Valley Conference and 2-0 on the season was Hiland with a methodical win over visiting Ridgewood. The Hawks dominated the offensive glass to the tune of a 17-8 advantage, picked up a 21-4 edge in second-chance points and outscored the Generals 18-6 from downtown. Hiland then capped it off with sound ball movement as it moved the ball for a 13-7 margin in assists.
Hilary Weaver led all scorers with 25 points, three boards and handed out seven helpers, and Noelle Yoder finished with 22 points, five rebounds and two assists. Tossing in 12 points was Katelyn Stuckey as she pulled down a team-high six boards for the Hawks.
