Hiland guard Hilary Weaver was named Div. IV Player of the Year and Hawks coach Dave Schlabach was Coach of the Year as the East District basketball all-star teams were announced Tuesday.

Weaver, a senior, averaged 14.6 points and 7.9 assists for the Hawks, who won the Inter-Valley Conference title under Schlabach, who has also guided Hiland to six consecutive district titles and has his team one win away from No. 7.

Weaver was joined on the first team by teammate Noelle Yoder (19 ppg.), a senior guard, while Katelyn Stuckey was a special mention pick.
