The Hiland Hawks always have designs on a state championship - but on the way, they collect a lot of Inter-Valley Conference titles as well. Wednesday, Hiland wrapped up a perfect IVC campaign by cruising past Newcomerstown.

Seniors Noelle Yoder and Hilary Weaver gave complete-game efforts in Hiland’s victory at home. Yoder poured in a game-high 18 points, including four 3-pointers, and pulled down eight rebounds, while Weaver added 15 points and dished out seven assists. McKenzie Miller led the Hawks in steals, snagging five of the team's 25 total.
