Hiland jumped out to a 20-6 lead at the end of one quarter and increased that to 42-9 at the half as it improved to 15-1 on the season and 13-0 in Inter-Valley Conference action.

Leading the Hawks was Hilary Weaver with 21 points, while she also dished out nine assists. Joining Weaver in double figures was Katelyn Stuckey with 11.

Grabbing six rebounds each for the Hawks were Meagan Hall and Stuckey as the locals outrebounded the Rockets by a 32-15 count.
