It was over before it began for Hiland as the soaring Hawks flew out to a 36-10 first-half lead in cruising past Ridgewood. Hiland outrebounded the Generals 35-19 and used an aggressive defense to force a 23-7 edge in turnovers. The Hawks were led offensively by Lindsay Stuckey with 18 points and six rebounds. Jena Stutzman and Rachel Thomas tallied 12 points each, while Layla Miller finished with 11. Stutzman paced Hiland clearing the glass with seven rebounds and dished out a team-leading eight assists.
