Most teams take pride in outscoring their opposition, and the Wellsville Tigers did just that against Hiland in a 8-6 fourth quarter. Problem is, the Hawks already led 90-6 entering the final stanza as Hiland cruised their way through the Claymont Div. IV sectional semifinals. Three locals managed to outscore their opposition single-handedly in a warm-up match for the Hawks. Hiland held superior advantages on the glass (50-10), assists (27-1) and turnovers (25-14). Lindsay Stuckey led the trio with a game-high 21 points. Leah Hochstetler connected for 16 and Jena Stutzman added 15 points, while Rachel Thomas tossed in 13. Stuckey led the glass cleaning with nine rebounds and Krista Beechy snared seven caroms. Launa Hochstetler dished out a team-high eight assists and added eight points to the big win.
